Giving Back To Our Communities
At Balchem, we continuously pride ourselves in being members of the communities in which we work and supporting our local communities in a variety of ways. Our Balchem Helping Hands initiative includes Balchem’s philanthropic partnerships, a matching donation program, and an employee volunteering program. By harnessing the collective efforts of our employees, Balchem gives back to the local communities where we operate and provides a helping hand to those in need.
Balchem Kooler Kids
Balchem Kooler Kids program helps support nationwide food banks purchase refrigeration units. With Balchem’s support, the local food banks have the proper refrigeration equipment to store perishable goods and distribute to those in need. Refrigeration units will also help reduce food waste and dairy dumping.
Employee Volunteer Program
Balchem Helping Hands Volunteer Program allows our employees to collaborate and share best practices for volunteer activities. Our local site teams organize volunteer events at charities in the communities where we operate. Whether it is packing up food at a food bank, cleaning up the landscape, or donating backpacks, Balchem Helping Hands supports our local communities.
Balchem’s Matching Donation Program supports our employees in their personal philanthropy and charitable giving by providing monetary matches (dollar for dollar) for qualified, non-profit organizations that align with Balchem’s vision to make the world a healthier place.
Philanthropic Partnerships
Balchem is a proud supporter of the National Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc. We are committed to raise awareness about the impact of breast cancer. During October, we host a “Wear Pink Days” event and make a donation to the NBCF for each employee who submits a photo.
