Message From Our CEOBalchem is proud to achieve the bronze status from our first EcoVadis evaluation. EcoVadis is the world’s largest provider of sustainability assessments for companies. Their assessment considers 21 sustainability criteria from the areas of environment, labor and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement. This rating puts Balchem in the top 47% quartile in our sector.
Balchem has furthered its commitment to environmental transparency by disclosing its environmental impact through CDP, a global non-profit that runs the world’s leading environmental disclosure platform. Balchem has completed CDP’s 2024 Climate and Water questionnaires. By disclosing through CDP, Balchem is prepared to respond to the increasing demand for environmental transparency from financial institutions, customers, and policymakers. In its disclosure, Balchem shared its progress in reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and water consumption as well as its efforts to mitigate climate risks across its global operations and is supported by our recent commitment to reduce our absolute Scope 1 and Scope 2 GHG emissions and water consumption by 25% by 2030 compared to 2020 levels.
