Sept 2016 – The objective of this Ecuadorean trial is to assess the effect of the application of Sunred, Madurel, Metalosate K, and Maxim on the coloring of mandarins W. Murcott grafted in Cleopatra, in order to reduce the number of passes and / or concentrate the harvest of the fruit in the first passes to obtain better returns and / or reduce harvest costs. The application of the different products to improve the coloring of the fruit in mandarin W.Murcott / Cleopatra did not concentrate the fruit in the first harvest nor reduced the number of harvests. The 2015-2016 season had a wide thermal variations during the fall season, which triggered the color break, and with it the development of the orange color in the fruit.
