Effect of sprays of Metalosate® Calcium on apple tree yielding, and fruit quality and storability

– In this Polish study, the effects of Metalosate Calcium alone compared to CaCl2 and a combination Metalosate Calcium + CaCl2 were evaluated on apple fruit quality (bitter pit), storability, and yield. Treatment with early applications of Metalosate Calcium (between full bloom and petal fall) followed by CaCl2 gave significantly better results on quality and storability of apple fruits.
