Plant growing in Soil With Sunlight

For over five decades Metalosate has supported plant nutrition for the highest yields and premium quality. Today’s growers must have better tools to deliver higher yields while using fewer natural resources. To ensure we can offer the best solutions Balchem continues to invest in increasingly science-based solutions for grower’s plant nutrition needs.

Metalosate StimPlus combines chelated minerals and organic compounds to boost productivity in the plant and power biological systems. Its various components contribute to increasing energy, balancing minerals, encourages root systems and activating environmental factors to work for the plant. By contributing to all these interconnected systems, Metalosate StimPlus delivers bigger, faster, healthier plants.

Metalosate® StimPlus™ Unique Mode Of Action

Chelated Minerals

Fortifying Plants

All plants require a balance of 16 essential minerals to grow properly. These minerals are major factors in everything from cell-wall structure and synthesis, photosynthesis, protein processing, and enzyme activation. Metalosate StimPlus contains a combination of several common micronutrients that work in an interconnected manner to enhance the productivity of all plant biological systems.

Amino Acids

Boosting Energy

Amino acids have been used in plant nutrition for over five decades to enhance growth and give an energy boost to a plant’s physiological systems. They are the building blocks of protein and as such are critical to the plant’s growth and development process. By supplementing the plant with additional amino acids, it provides the plant with more energy to grow.

Seaweed Extract

Promoting Vigor

Seaweed extract provides additional nutrients and energy in the form of natural auxin and cytokinin to plants. It can promote increased vigor, improve overall plant health and greater productivity within plants it is applied to. Seaweed can cause increased root and vegetative growth by stimulating natural responses within plants when applied as foliar sprays. It has also been observed that seaweed extracts can have positive impacts upon beneficial microorganisms in the soil, therefore increasing soil quality and fertility.

Product Information

Product Use

Shake well before use. Keep from freezing.

Metalosate® StimPlus™ is designed for use on all crops and all soil types. When applied to soil the spray should be concentrated for best response. It may be applied as a band, or injected through irrigation systems. When applied as a foliar spray apply by a spray method and in an adequate amount of water that will provide complete coverage of the plants. Use of non-ionic wetting agent may improve spray coverage of certain hard to wet plants. Do not apply undiluted.

The rate of application will depend on the crop, stage of growth, and severity of symptoms. Maximum recommended rates are for mature, full-sized plants. Reduce the rates proportionately when spraying smaller plants.

Soil application rates: All Crops: Metalosate StimPlus may be applied as a band, pre-plant, fertigated starter or top dressed to the soil. Use 1/2 to 4 quarts per acre. Product may be applied through a center pivot irrigation system. Multiple applications may be needed.

Crop Recommendation

Field Crops and Vegetables: Apply 16 to 32 fluid ounces per acre (1.0 to 2.0 liters per hectare) during periods of rapid growth or nutritional stress. The application may be repeated 2 or more times through the growing season.

Tree Crops: Make an application of 16 to 48 fluid ounces per acre (1.0 to 3.0 liters per hectare) after the beginning of active growth. The application may be repeated at 2 to 4 week intervals through the growing season.

Grapes and Berries: Produce an application of 16 to 32 fluid ounces per acre (1.0 to 2.0 liters per hectare) after active growth begins. The application may be repeated at intervals of one week or more through the
vegetative‑growth period.

Turf: Apply 1 to 2 fluid ounces per 1000 square feet (10 to 20 milliliters per 100 square meters) during periods of active growth.

Ornamental Trees, Shrubs and Flowering Plants: Dilute at a rate of 32 fluid ounces in 10 or more gallons (250 milliliters in 10 or more liters) of water and spray to complete coverage.
