Johannesburg Reisling Grapes

1994 – Potassium foliar application of a 0-0-30 amino acid complex increases juice quality of wine grapes and juice grapes.
Wine grapes treated increased in brix readings with no changes in pH or acidity readings compared to control.
Juice brix readings in concord grapes improved, reducing the need for the addition of none grape sources of sugar in order to reach the required sugar reading.
