Customer Service Week was started in 1991 by the Customer Service Group, and the following year was proclaimed a nationally recognized event by the United States Congress. Today, thousands of companies in a multitude of industries celebrate Customer Service Week to express gratitude for all the customer service employees that do such important work to keep our customers as happy as possible.
