Cookie Ice Cream Feature Flavors
We have created many awesome cookie-related ice cream flavors, it’s hard to pick just a few to feature today. Each of these flavors is an exciting take on a classic cookie, reinvented as an ice cream using Balchem bases, variegates and our low-melt inclusions.
Chocolate Banana Cookie
In 2013, we decided to tackle the challenge of creating the perfect balance of banana and chocolate. This combination resulted in a deliciously sweet ice cream. We choose to use a paradise-worthy smooth banana cream ice cream as the base. Then, we added dark chocolate flakes that are swirled with a crunchy chocolate cookie textured variegate. This flavor has the natural banana flavor with the luxurious taste of dark chocolate and crunch to bring added sensory experiences and mouthfeel. This flavor will have consumers going absolutely bananas for it!
Oatmeal Raisin Cookie
Oatmeal cookies are reminiscent of cozy evenings, flannel pajamas, and hot cocoa. So, we had to recreate it! We formulated an oatmeal cookie flavored ice cream base. Then, we load it with raisins and oatmeal cookie pieces. The oatmeal cookie base is creamy and offers that homemade flavor we all crave this time of year. For more on this flavor’s importance, check out our “Ice Cream Trends During COVID” blog.
Suga’ Dazzle Cookie
One of the trends Balchem has identified for 2021 is “Eat Pretty”. This trend addresses the importance of something not just tasting amazing but also looking like a piece of artwork. Our Suga’ Dazzle Cookie flavor does just that! It is a sugar cookie ice cream with sugar cookie pieces. Then, to beautify it even more, a rainbow glitter frosting is swirled in! This Instagram-worthy flavor really does taste as good as it looks!
