"Real Faces of Dairy" Project Celebrating the American Dairy Farmer Launched
New Hampton, New York (January 5, 2016). Balchem Corporation is proud to launch the "Real Faces of Dairy" celebration. The year-long project will feature real stories of past, present and future innovators that shape the face of the American dairy industry and provide a forum for highlighting the many advancements that impact the dairy products we provide to our global consumers.
"The future of the dairy industry is exciting and vibrant. Those that are shaping that future share a passion for cows, healthy dairy products and efficiently feeding an expanding population," notes Scott Sorrell, Director of Global Marketing for Balchem. "Through the Real Faces of Dairy celebration, we hope to gather and share the stories of today's dairy industry; in words, pictures and art."
Throughout 2016, the Real Faces of Dairy project will feature a photo contest, essay contest and custom art piece that will be auctioned for charity at the end of the year. The culmination of the celebration will be a video tribute that highlights the full dairy story and can be shared with consumers.
Balchem is also sponsoring a year-long article series in Dairy Herd Management magazine that will tell the stories of the dairy industry from many different angles. Each month, the magazine will feature individuals that are impacting the industry and those unexpected contributors that will shape the dairy industry's future.
"We hope to extend this celebration across all areas of the dairy industry and share our passion with consumers around the world," adds Sorrell. "Through the dedicated web site, www.realfacesofdairy.com, we encourage everyone to share their dairy story and upload pictures of what dairy means to them."
