Precision Release Nitrogen

A patented new technology now makes the controlled release of nitrogen in the rumen possible.
With NitroShure™ Precision Release Nitrogen, urea - microencapsulated in lipid layers - releases nitrogen over time. As a result, nitrogen is released in the proper proportion to carbohydrates for the efficient synthesis of amino acids by the rumen microbes.
The dense nitrogen delivery of NitroShure™ supplies cows the same amount of protein as traditional protein supplements, but does so using 1.5 to 1.8 lbs. less dry matter, letting the ration work harder. About 1.5 lbs. of additional forage, energy concentrates or byproducts can be fed to benefit rumen health, milk production and/ or milk components.
